My name is Ryan Bates and I am a 23-year-old technology enthusiast and entrepreneur based out of San Diego, CA. For as long as I can remember, technology has been an obsession of mine. At a young age, I quickly became the go-to guy for family and friends regarding tech-related questions.

I'm an early-adoptor, and love trying out new things, so being able to cover technology and review new products is a dream come true. Social media is my guilty pleasure, in the last few years I've probably tried out everything that has emerged. I've been an avid Facebook and Twitter user since 2007, but my latest obsessions include Instagram, Path, and Oink. While I mostly use Apple products, I wouldn't label myself an "Apple fanboy". I welcome competition and I'm always interested in checking out something new.
